報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：

 LinShu Liu 博士，畢業(yè)于日本京都大學(xué),，隨后在美國(guó)麻省理工學(xué)院（MIT）做博士后工作,。1992—2002年以高級(jí)科學(xué)家,、首席科學(xué)家的身份先后在美國(guó)加州3家生物科技公司工作。2002年進(jìn)入美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部（USDA）東部研究中心,，目前擔(dān)任該中心的Leading Scientist,。研究方向主要包括：(1)人腸道微生物群落和飲食的相互作用；(2)生物活性物質(zhì)的可控遞送,；(3)材料和細(xì)胞的相互作用,；(4)高分子合成和改性等。

  已發(fā)表同行評(píng)議論文120余篇,，會(huì)議論文200余篇,，授權(quán)專(zhuān)利27項(xiàng)，出版專(zhuān)著8部,，參加撰寫(xiě)專(zhuān)著15章,。是塔吉克斯坦農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)、華盛頓州立大學(xué)和新澤西州立大學(xué)兼職教授,，以及塔吉克斯坦科學(xué)院外籍院士,。獲美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部“Unsung Hero”獎(jiǎng)?wù)拢?016）、美國(guó)政府聯(lián)邦執(zhí)行委員會(huì) “杰出科學(xué)成就”金獎(jiǎng)（ 2006,、2013,、2018）和“優(yōu)秀公共服務(wù)”銅獎(jiǎng)（2013）等榮譽(yù)。

報(bào)告內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介：

  The human gut contains a vast number of microorganisms known collectively as the “gut microbiota”. Substances delivered from the human world into the microbial world of the gut can have an impact upon the structure and function of the gut microbiota that, in turn, may have effects on its human host. The seminar presents recent research on the interaction between diet and the gut microbiota conducted by the scientists of the Eastern Regional Research Center, US Department of Agriculture.
